Important Information Regarding EQAO and Homework!

EQAO Practice Booklet
Image result for notice
Today we have sent home an EQAO Booklet with all Grade 3 students.  These questions replace your child’s regular homework for the next month.  We strongly encourage you to have your child complete these practice questions regularly prior to EQAO.   Your child is of course also encouraged to visit DreamBox and RAZ-Kids.

Once completed, have your child go to their Google Drive. In their Language folder they have the exemplars for both the language and the math "Show Your Work” questions.  Please review your child's answers and the exemplars with them and have them bump up their work if needed.

Please do not return this package,  it is for at home use only.

Should you wish to view more sample EQAO questions please visit:  eqao.com

We will be sending home a note prior to EQAO with reminders to help your child achieve their personal best and shine!

All EQAO testing begins at 9:10 in the morning.

Structures Found in Nature

In Science, we have been exploring human-made structures and structures found in our natural environment.  This video was so fascinating!  The students had so many questions and wonderings after viewing this video about ant mega structures.

Enjoy!

Be sure to check out our class Twitter account for pictures of our outdoor learning adventure yesterday.

Have a wonderful weekend,
