Save the Date!

On December 16th we will be having a Musical Theatre Performance here at St. Cecilia.  Each class will have a song that they will perform. We will be practicing a lot and look forward to showcasing our song and dance for all of you.  

The song we will be singing is called "Fun" from the musical "BIG".

The performance will take place during the day so I wanted to give everyone a heads up so you are able to clear your schedule should you wish to attend.  

More information will be coming so stay tuned!

Rounding!

In Math, we have been adding and subtracting large numbers (2 and 3 digit numbers).  We have also been comparing, ordering and rounding numbers.

Remembrance Day

Our St. Cecilia Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place this Friday in our school gymnasium.  

If you are available to join us, the Ceremony will begin at 
10:45 a.m.

We have been reflecting this week about Remembrance Day and what peace means to us.  Today we wrote our own 'Prayer for Peace'.  Ask your child about it:).

We have also read some stories and have begun a Remembrance Day 'Pointillism' Art project, inspired by the famous Artist Georges Seurat.  The projects are beautiful!
