Rounding to the nearest 10

In Math, we have been reviewing some tips and strategies to round numbers to the nearest 10 in both 2 and 3 digit numbers.  Here is an anchor chart that we worked on together so that we remember all of our math thinking.  We also watched this short video!  Lastly, the students practiced their rounding using whiteboards.  The children found that using their schema (background knowledge) of number lines and place value really helped them round number effectively.  Awesome stuff!
